Valentine’s Day is a film that tries desperately to pander to as wide an audience as possible, while employing a mostly B-cast list and a couple of overly dramatized so-called “twists.”  I have to admit- I was pleasantly surprised after seeing this movie that I was not forced to gouge my eyes out, but there’s just not enough here to justify the existence of the film in the first place.  It is convinced, for some reason, that it breaks new ground, but …

The finale of the 2009-2010 season is here. Fortunately for fans of offense, the biggest game of the year for the biggest sport in the country will be played by, in the humble opinion of the SportsHuman, the two best quarterbacks in the league today. The accuracy, decision-making, strength, and leadership of both Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are absolutely off the charts, which will make Sunday’s game a fun one.

As nice as their story has been, I don’t think the Jets can put up more points than the Colts, even with that great defense.
The offensive and defensive firepower on the Vikings appears to be too much for the one-sided Saints to beat–but it should be close.

The Saints will outrace the Cardinals, especially without Anquan Boldin.
Indianapolis is too strong to falter in Baltimore’s defensive mire.
The Vikings defense will slow down Tony Romo’s air attack when they sack him every other play.
San Diego is just plain better than the Jets.
