Ok, so this is less of a set of a picks and more of a statement that THR has been on holiday hiatus. As such, we didn’t pick a winner for 15 of the 16 games this week. We will, however, tell you that we think that we have a prediction for tonight’s game… so at least it’s something.
Vikings over Bears
Pretty uninspired work this week. Our apologies.

Here you go… your Week 21 Power Rankings. Sorry to say that not much has changed here. The playoffs are starting to shape up, with the Yankees, Angels, (sorta) Dodgers, Cardinals, and Phillies all pretty much locks for their divisional crowns.
1. Yankees: The Yankees are still the dominant team in the Major Leagues right now. They stuck it to Boston to prove who is the class of the AL East, and the team is really starting to play up to its talent. Tex and Sabathia are showing why they get paid so …

Here you go… your Week 20 Power Rankings.
1. Yankees: The Yankees are the dominant team in the Major Leagues right now. They stuck it to Boston to prove who is the class of the AL East, and the team is really starting to play up to its talent. Tex and Sabathia are showing why they get paid so much, and the rest of the team is contributing in a way that makes it seem like the Yankees always know how to win. From top to bottom, lineup, rotation, and bullpen, the …

And now to your AwardWatch for Week 20! Pujols has been in a "slump" (he is hitting in the .290s!) which means he only leads the contenders by a mile instead of a league. J.A. Happ remains dominant. Jeff Niemann has showed his mettle in Tampa, proving to be one of the best things going on down in the sunshine state, a place ripe with young talent. You have to think the Rays will be contenders for a while…
NL:
MVP: Albert Pujols… Nothing new here. Everyone knows that he has been the MVP …

The Yankees have distanced themselves from the rest of the pack in the AL East. The Angels have made a strong statement as the second best team in baseball. The Dodgers have hit a really rough patch, losing a lot of games as the race in the West heats up, blowing open the number 3 spot in the rankings for the Cardinals and Matt Holliday.
1. Yankees: The Yankees made a statement against the Sox last week, and have won 9 of 10 (it seems like they have been winning 9 out …

Biggest news of the day comes from Philadelphia where Michael Vick signed a two-year deal to backup Donovan McNabb and be an X-factor in the wildcat and possible trick play situations.
We'll just briefly address this by saying that the Eagles now have quite possibly the fastest team in the NFL. Vick's signing may not drastically affect the play-to-play operations of the team, but with McNabb (once a big-time runner) and Jackson, Curtis, and Maclin at wide receiver and two speedsters, Westbrook and McCoy at halfback, Philly may shake up the …

And now to your AwardWatch! Not much has changed, except for the new idea of not making the NL MVP contender the lead photo every week. Albert Pujols's photo was getting worn out. Now you can enjoy J.A. Happ's smiling face!
NL:
MVP: Albert Pujols… Nothing new here. Everyone knows that he has been the MVP of the first half and continues to play well. In fact, one of the only other players worth mentioning in this race has been his new teammate, Matt Holliday, who has been unstoppable since returning to the NL. …

A big series awaits the AL East, as the Yankees square off against the BoSox this week. The Rays have to be happy about it, because it means they will at least gain ground on one of those two teams. In other news, the Cardinals are having a tough time holding off the Cubs, who are being helped along by rookie starter Randy Wells. We'll give the advantage to the Cardinals for now, after a grand showing against the Dodgers, but keep Wells and Co. on you. Speaking of rookies, J.A. Happ …
